To address SUNY faculty and staff well-being, Chancellor John B. King formed a working group of four faculty governance leaders, three presidents, one provost, and two members of his cabinet. The working group was charged with identifying actionable recommendations for the Chancellor and senior leadership on concrete steps the System can implement, support, or facilitate within available resources. The recommendations are intended to advance faculty and staff well-being and development while supporting the System’s broader commitments to student success, upward mobility, research and scholarship, diversity, equity and inclusion, and institutional resilience.

“From Okanagan to Limerick: A Global Journey Toward Health Promoting U.S. Campuses.” In 2015, the Okanagan Charter invited colleges and universities to reimagine campus health through a health promotion lens. Ten years later, the Limerick Framework for Action builds on that vision—offering practical, action-oriented strategies for creating healthier planet, places, and people. This recorded webinar takes viewers through the evolution from Charter to Framework and invites them to consider how global health-promoting concepts can inspire and translate to action to support student success and community well-being in our current U.S. context.  https://www.acha.org/resource/from-okanagan-to-limerick-a-global-journey-toward-health-promoting-u-s-campuses/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=rasa_io&utm_campaign=newsletter
